Eat Smart to Be Smart

Have you ever felt that you’re not being as sharp as you could be? I’ve got some great news for you - what you eat can actually help you be smarter!

It makes sense if you think about it - what’s good for our bodies must be good for our brain too. And our brain’s the control centre! Communicating, moving, basically any kind of function.  A healthy brain is as important as a healthy body. People often overlook this!

So if you try to eat the right kinds of foods, you might find you can actually concentrate better, learn stuff more easily, think bigger… and feel way more energised! 

Of course, when you’re busy all day, you often end up choosing whatever’s quickest and easiest. Just to keep you going. I know someone who lives on office biscuits and sweet tea when she’s under pressure at work!  I think we’ve all been there… who’s got time to fuss over lunch every day?!

Luckily, there are some really quick, simple ways you can feed your brain. Just try one or more of these ideas each day:

 

 

So, you see how just a few tweaks to your daily diet could get you thinking and feeling sharper.

Give it a go, just for a couple of weeks. You could even test yourself by seeing how long you take to finish a puzzle, crossword or Sudoku. Compare now versus then! See if you can rope a mate in as well.
